Death Star Docking Bay Control Room 327

Been spending the last two months on this real-time rendition of the Death Star Docking Bay Control Room 327. Modeled in 3ds Max, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered with the Unreal 4 game engine. The control panels were the most exhausting part; getting all the details as accurate as possible. Everything blinks in real-time, I'll try and upload a video soon. Also, excuse the fact that there is nothing to see out the viewports...I have yet to model the docking bay.

Star Wars E-11 Blaster Rifle

The famous BlasTech E-11 Blaster Rifle, or "Stormtrooper Rifle", as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope.  This was such a fun build, and lots of research went into it.  The E-11s from ANH were made from British Sterling L2A3 sub-machine guns.  The magazine was cut down considerably, a scope was added, as well as a Hengstler Counter Box and other greebles.  I went ahead an made a conscious choice to leave the "earthbound" serial numbers and other print on the gun, so it's much more of a prop replica than an in-universe example.

Enjoy!

Star Wars DLT-19 Blaster Rifle

I've been working on some more Death Star interiors, and before finishing one up, I was required to model this blaster rifle.  It's the DLT-19, seen in the hands of sandtroopers on Tatooine and in Chewie's hands during our heroes' escape from the Death Star.  In reality, the prop was a lightly modified WWII-era MG34 machine gun.  I had a blast modeling this gun over the last week, and am really pleased with how it turned out.  Substance Painter keeps proving to be an amazing program, bringing my texturing skills into the current gen.
